The Daily Flip
My primary goal with flipcode 2.0 right now is to finish merging in the old site. It sucks having the old/new sites still separated, but dealing with almost 5 years of content is quite a task. The reason its a pain is that some of the really old articles and columns were hand-formatted before I had the sense to use a proper database with formatting tags instead of bare HTML. I've automated a big part of the conversion process, but I still need to tweak the results by hand to ensure they're formatted properly. Progress is moving along rapidly, but its still a time-consuming beast. Fortunately, this is a one-time thing. I'm also currently finishing up a few things for the new forums, so that the switch-over is relatively seamless. In any case, I hope to finish all of this as quickly as possible so that I can focus on the many new features I'd like to get rolling. Rawwwr.
