Dual Paraboloid Shadow Mapping

Tom Nuydens of Delphi3D sent along the following news about his latest demo:

"I've released a demo that does dual paraboloid shadow mapping. By using dual paraboloid depth maps, shadow mapping can be made to work for point lights, whereas the "classic" technique only works for spotlights. The demo requires a GeForce3 or better. Binaries and source can be downloaded at Delphi3D."
