Tom Nuydens of Delphi3D posted a new article on deferred shading, complete with a demo. Here's a clip from the site:

"Deferred shading is a technique that allows you to postpone expensive shading calculations to the image postprocessing stage (a.k.a. video post). The example used in the article is per-pixel lighting: using deferred shading, you only have to transform your scene once, even for multiple light sources."
