Coding Contest News
flipCode's May Coding Contest (which was supposed to end last night) has been extended until June 5th to resolve some last minute issues. In addition, the entry file size limit for this and all future contests has been changed to 1,000,000 bytes. New entries or entry updates may still be submitted between now and the 5th.
Speaking of entries, 4 new entries have been posted! Sergey Stoma submitted a non-interactive vehicle simulation. Uday Karan Verma submitted a Star Trek space demo. JT Hooker sent along an interactive demo of a mech walking on a terrain, and Alan Gordie submitted a hot air balloon simulation. Check 'em all out over here!
And finally, the June 2002 Coding Contest has been launched! The topic is Liquid Effects. We've done a water contest in the past, but this time around you've got the opportunity to make an effect demo on anything from lava to slime. Visit here for all the details. The deadline is 30 June 2002. We do not yet have a prize for the June contest, so if you or your company would like to sponsor it by providing something cool for the winners, please contact us!
