Real-time Rendering 2nd Ed.
Eric Haines sent along the following chunk of information about the second edition of Real-time Rendering, to be published later this year:
"We've just finished work on the second
edition of our book "Real-Time Rendering." It will be published in June,
and the draft will be on display at GDC at the AK Peters booth. We started
out with the goal of adding 100, maybe 150 pages. 360 pages later (not to
mention extensive revisions throughout), we're done.
Excerpts from the new book are available at the book's website, http://www.realtimerendering.com. These include sections on non-photorealistic rendering, levels of detail, and subdivision surfaces and curves. We are in the process of updating this site, which has been dormant since October (we've been too busy writing, having just finished last weekend). We've collected a lot of new information for the site, but I'd appreciate hearing from flipcode readers of any resources good to add."
