I received an e-mail this morning from Jeff Molofee (Nehe), who said he heard I spend my days trash talking his site. I'm using this space to say clearly: that is absolutely false. I'm not about to get involved with some boring "he said"-"she said" drama brought on by whoever out there insists on trying to create tension, but I do want to state clearly that I have not been going around trash talking Nehe, his host site (GameDev.Net), or anyone affiliated with either site. If you heard otherwise, its not true. I appreciate what both of these sites are doing for the community, and to my knowledge our sites are on good terms with each other.

Its rather annoying to hear these claims of trash-talking, knowing they're entirely untrue. I simply run my site and generally keep quiet (as I'm usually quite busy spending my days working.) I barely talk to anyone, let alone trash talk. For the record, at this time I don't use IRC at all (not even #flipcode), and I'm not active on any game development forums or newgroups other than flipcode's. I don't know if anyone has been impersonating me on IRC, forums, or elsewhere, but apparently someone somewhere has been putting words in my mouth. I would've thought Nehe would ask me personally about this before posting one side of the supposed story on his site, but in any event, hopefully this post of mine will help clear things up.

Anyway, back to the usual:
