Blitz 3D Basic
James Boyd sent along some information about Blitz 3D, a package currently in the works that'll bring 3D programming capabilities to the already available Blitz Basic. Here's a snippet on Blitz:
" Blitz Basic is a simple-but-powerful compiled BASIC that uses DirectX to allow people to write games without having to learn C/C++. It also features many non-BASIC features such as custom types, dynamic linked lists, etc. "According to James, Blitz 3D "brings the simple-but-powerful approach of Blitz Basic into the realm of 3D programming." It can be used for rapid prototyping or full-fledged game development.
