Patrick Kooman sent word that he's updated with the third tutorial in their 2D game programming series. According to the author, this tutorial covers:
  • Sharing bitmaps among multiple objects using a "singleton"-class
  • Using text files in stead of binary files to store and load data
  • Timing the frame-update
  • Loading and playing animations
  • A base-class for our objects
