New OpenIL Release

DooMWiz sent in the following news bit, mentioning a new release (1.3.3a) of the Open Image Library (OpenIL), a library which supports reading and writing various image formats:

" Open Image Library 1.3.3a is now released at and includes a plethora of new features. Open Image Library (OpenIL) is a library designed to load, manipulate, convert, save and display images in a variety of formats. The list of files now supported for loading are bmp, cut, jpg, pal, pcd, pcx, pic, png, pbm, pgm, ppm, raw, rle, sgi, tga and tif. There is also support for saving bmp, c-style headers, pcx, png, pbm, pgm, ppm, raw, sgi and tga files. The latest version adds improved support for big-endian processors, run length encoding and conversion from palette'd images to unmapped images, along with many other features. "
