Triangle Strip Generation

Tom Nuydens of Delphi3D posted a new article on Triangle Strip Generation. It explains a way to generate triangle strips from a mesh. Here's a clip from the introduction:

" Most graphics applications work with triangles. Triangles have some properties that make them particularly attractive for use in 3D graphics, but they also have the disadvantage of containing only three vertices. For example, if you want to compose a hexagon out of triangles, you need to issue twelve glVertex*() commands instead of six. You can reduce this kind of overhead by extracting triangle strips from your models. "
