There's a new beta version (0.9.5) of the BeeCrypt encryption library available. I imagine this may be of interest to the many programmers out there. BeeCrypt is an open source cryptography library. Here's the fuzz from the web site:

" BeeCrypt is an open source cryptography library written in C and assembler. It contains implementations of well-known algorithms including Blowfish, SHA-1, Diffie-Hellman, and ElGamal. It is not designed to solve one specific problem, like file encryption, but to be a general purpose toolkit which can be used in a variety of applications. Since BeeCrypt is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) license, it can be used for free in both open source and closed source commercial projects. We know of no patent or royalty issues involved in using BeeCrypt. "
