The Daily Flip
Hey hi, and um, hello. I'm out of town right now working on a few things, and while playing around with a laptop from the hotel, I've experienced the terribleness for a while now of seeing flipcode at 800x600. Why didn't anyone tell me it was so ugly >:]? I'll try to fix that up a little when I finish up the new flipCode things to come. As for these content additions and design changes which I've been talking about in the past few weeks, they're still coming. I've just been quiet about it because I'm sure it gets really old to keep hearing "they're coming", like you're hearing right now :). Some really cool new stuff is coming "soon", so please be patient. The server change was a rocky experience thanks to various web companies who decided it would be pretty fun to waste my time, but hopefully I won't need to change servers again. If you notice any speed problems on this one, let me know. If you're interested in some of the new content changes, or have helpful suggestions/ideas for making flipCode better, by all means send me an e-mail.
As for other things, thanks for the many quotes (for the news page) that you guys sent in. The database will be updated as soon as I return home. As will the lame game challenge and this month's contest. I'd also like to throw out another thanks to Max, who's been doing a nice job this past week helping out with the news.
Well then, enough of my whining and yap yap yapping. I label it "interesting" that I feel weird rambling in this section, considering the fact that this was the original reason for the daily flip. I'll try not to waste too much of your time in this section with my aimless venting, but I might actually use it a little more often ;). If it gets overly annoying, let me know and I'll move it over to my personal page. In any event, kick back and enjoy some tasty links...
If you'd like to discuss programming, graphics, 3D, or any of these links, stop by the flipCode Message Center or swing by #flipCode on efnet (irc)!
