I've been working on this game for a while now, and its reached the testing stage. Its an arcade racer using ODE for physics. Written in C++, I am using OpenGL for gfx ,OpenAL for sound and DeviIL. Its not supposed to be a simulator, or even look realistic. My aim was to create a arcade racer, a bit like micro machines, or destruction derby.
Heres some features:
3 track, 3 cars (and a truck)
Caravan racing ?! (remeber super skidmarks on the amiga?)
Heightmapped terrain (quadtree)
Stenciled shadow volumes
Environment mapped cars
Basic car ai
'Quake style' in game console
