yeah. totally right.

i'm probably going to move quake1 to per pixel shading..

i hope that goes smoothly.


but..
on geforce3's.. you can do a polycount like hardware t&l probably..
haven't looked into it since i don't have one ..
but iwth the geforce3, you can collapse this into 1 pass.
