Image Description, by Sebastian Sylvan

Here's a pic of Concept Art modelled into existance. You might recall the concept art of Alan 'Riot' Shafer from our game Reason Run Riot (here's a link) that we posted here a couple of weeks ago, well this is what our excellent modeller Joey Davis created with them.

Check out the site too, there's some more stuff there, like a downloadable mp3 sample of the soundtrack.

This is one hell of a beautiful model i must say. BTW who ever has designed the facial expresion has a good hold there. Well done guyz.

You have a skilled modeller indeed! It's rare to see a video game character with such realistic detail.

...He kinda reminds me of a brown-haired version of Duke Nukem.

It's looking very good. I remember seeing the original concept sketch here a while back. Is he supposed to look mean and tough? Make his chin flat instead of pointed and he will look like one mean SOB. The chin is flat in the concept sketch and that should flow through to the model. Is the rest of the body modelled yet or is it just the head and shoulders?

Awesome, great expression.

But I would like to propose for the chin and cheeks to be flattened (at least an extra poly for each), so that the polygonal base isn't so apparent.
But then, maybe that's because the face texture gets too dark too soon.

When can we see it animated ?
if you do Animate it, don't forget to add some noise (perlin), like in here

See ya

The eye expression is just great.

Navreet Gill: Polys per scene.. Hmm.. Not quite sure... We'll be using a LOD scheme similar to VIPM on the models though so we don't have an upper limit on the poly counts for the models (within common sense that is).

Prophylon: Yes, this is the in-game model.

-Wd 40-: Yes, he does look a bit like Harrison Ford =)

Steve: The entire model is done. Well, I shouldn't say "done". This is only the draft. And I don't think it's animated yet. The skin isn't done either. I think the face is almost done though.

Thanks for the great comments guys! We aprechiate it.
