Downloaded the demo - pretty cool. Few requests:

- Could you change GLDark so it doesn't fix its size. From the screenshot it looks like you have a really high-res (1280?).

- What are some good values for generating a fractal landscape? The ones I have tried have produced crazy results!

Cool demo though, and cheers for the code!

James.

That fog looks a little 'wrong' against the black background.
Pretty stars though. I guess it's a skybox rather than having eeach star as an individual particle? (Particlesw ould be cool though!)

Yeah. Fog/sky color mismatch, hehehee. Try making the far away stuff fade out into fog, maybe?

Enjoy,
Greg

The solution to the fog problem is to make the fog color be black.

James, what fractal are you using to generate landscape. It depends on what fractal you are using.
Others:
Ok, I kind of like the gray fog, but if you think black fog would be better, then I can change it....

oh, sorry I James I didn't understand your question. Sorry. It seems I put the wrong fractal generator on the web download the new version, and put passes 6 or 7, and ther conerers anything you like...

Okay, why have particle stars? Stars are fixed in the scene. They dont share any traits with particles, with maybe the exception of the occasional falling star. That would be a huge waste of processing and memory. Just my opinion of course. =)
