Image Description, by Francis Shanahan

Here's the latest image from This model was converted from a Half-life model done by a guy I met on He's known as "Evil Bastard" but he's actually a really nice guy and granted me the permission to use all his models!!! Which is awesome. This model is about 600 or so triangles so it's very manageable. I converted it from half-life format to WaveFront then imported it in to the OGLM tool and saved it to OGLM format. Everything worked like a charm. Soon I'll add a skeleton and start animating the sucker. Let me know what you think by "sounding off" ( see the top right ).

Hey, isn't it Arm, one of my favourite HL models? =)

Yes, this is ARM by Brian Collins. The shot was submitted to flipcode and cfxweb in the same email. Flipcode takes a little longer to post submissions. I'm going to re-purpose ARM to serve as a gladiator in the fighting game I'm building. Hope you like it. You can see more shots at in the Gallery section. Let me know what you think ;-)

Cool stuff. I downloaded the modeler, and it confused the bejesus out of me, but it's cool none the less. Keep up the good work!

Hey there Scrambled Monkey. From your use of "the bejesus" I take it you're a fellow Irish Man. The modeller on the site is a wee bit out of date shall we say. Thanks for the support.
