Hi guys,

After I browsed for a while through the topics, I finally decided to post something that might help a lot of people who are trying to develop games or that search a nice platform for them.

Me and my team have been working for a while to a web platform ( Gameleon) that allows people to create games without having programming skills, that is easy and fun to use and that incorporates the newest technology of HTML5 . We have a cloud editor, where you create the games only by opening your internet browser. You can use it on any device that supports HTML5 ( such as tablets, iphones, laptops,pc's) and everything is visual and intuitive.
The games you can create are real-time, multiplayer, role playing-games, you don't need any add'ons or downloads to play them because they are in the browser; and the best part is that you can Monetize your games or contribute to the Asset Market with graphic or sounds and make some money!

I believe it is a great tool for anyone that wants to create his own game or for those of you that want to provide graphics, sounds, UI design and make some money. Gameleon will also be free to use. Right now we launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise some awareness and we would be really glad if we could create a community for our platform.

I have lots of things I can tell you about it but I believe it would be better if you check our home page ( )or our Kickstarter page ( ). Who knows, maybe one of you will be the next brilliant mind who will create a successful game using our tool.

So what do you think about it?

No opinions about it?
I think HTML5 fans would love it and I can always reply to any questions about the editor and platform

Pretty Good.
I was wondering out of curiosity, did the D2 remake support dynamic shadows like in the caves? (as on the grass ground I couldn't see such effects)

Also you might not get a response from other members as this site has just restarted and is still a baby compared to it's former glory, but be sure that the lurkers read every post.

Thanks for your question!
The D2 remake does not support dynamic shadows because the shadows are part of the skins.

When I used to visit the site it was very populated, but that was a long time ago :P. Still I hope it will regain popularity.

I think it looks very nice. Also good to see that you get some exposure on entrepreneur events, perhaps you will get some investors.

It seems very RPG specific, is it so?

Is your target hobbyist or professionals?

March 13, 2013, 10:57 AM

Yes! We designed it to build RPG's for our own company, but in the future, one of the cool things we'd really love to do ( given that the Kickstarter funding allows it) is to expand to other game types: RTS, TBS, platformers ,etc
Check out our Milestones on our Kickstarter ( ) for more information on this topic.

Gameleon is designed with hobby users in mind, hence the editor is extremely easy to use and entirely visual. However we will be releasing the virtual machine the games run on as open source software. Both the editor and the virtual machine are based on open standards, thus giving professionals a way to increase or customize the complexity of their games.

Thanks for your questions! ^^

Because a lot of people asked for more information about Gameleon, we made an FAQ video where we answer some of the most common questions. We will try to post FAQ videos as often as we can, so don't hesitate to ask us anything you wanna know, on our Kickstarter campaign or on the forums.

We also announced in the video that we will be releasing a virtual machine with Bugtopia ( our demo game) on it so that you guys can take a look at it and have some fun. Another great thing will be the contest we will launch where you will be able to use a very light version of our editor to create games and win awesome prizes!
