No, not programming my DVD-Player to record something :)

Does anybody know if it is possible to make "Programs" for a common DVD-Player. I dont know, but a DVD-Menu should be some kind of Program too.

Are there any authoring-tools with which you can write simple programs or games for a DVD-Player like, let's say Tetris which you then can control by the remote?

The word you are looking for is "virtual machine", or VM. Google on "dvd vm" and you will find both some info on the command set and tools that allow you to author it. Keep in mind the possibilities are rather limited.
