this is all I can find about this new interface which extends from
IVMRSurfaceAllocator9, anyone know it offers higher image quality? I didn't see any difference after implementing it. As far as speed improvement it might be even going slower even if I resize my video to something like 100x100 from 1920x1080. It still has to read in the full frame, downsample and then I put it back onto a full screen display. So what advantages should I be getting using a custom allocator with this interface?
