I was reading a thread yesterday about someone wanted to create
a site full of GL extension articles.
Well, i really liked the idea and took it to another level.

Please check out:

Not much right now, but please feel free to help out.

And about the domain. It's from a free DNS service provider
and will most likley be changles if this become a success.

Yesterday !
A new level ?
Setup one of the available Wikis on the Web !

I believe what you want already exists.
http://www.opengl.org/documentation/extension.html

and the registry:
http://oss.sgi.com/projects/ogl-sample/registry/

Unless what you want to do is different from just documenting them, it's already done.

However, it could be a repository of differences between providers, ATI, NVIDIA, HERCULES, etc...
Or even programmer experiences, or ways to use them, to reach new interesting effects, that would be worth something.

Accually I was hoping people would sibmit more of an article or a tutorial
on the extensions. And create a small example using the extension in a demo.

It's always easier to understand the extensions by seeing how they work and
what they to. Rather then reading all the texts in the pages you posted.
Programmer experiences is also something i want to see more of on the site.
