How do you do it? There was a "New Project" option for C++ .lib libraries in VC6, but I can't find one in VS.NET 2003. Matter of fact, VS.NET 2003 doesn't seem to have an option for plain C++ DLL libraries either, only "MFC DLLs". Huh?!

It's just been hidden away:
Create a new project, Choose Visual C++ Projects, Win32 Project
Then in the wizard choose Application Settings and you can have plain old DLLs and libs.
