Please help me.

I've started coding a Dungeon Master clone using D3DRM. I have a map which you can move around in and rotate BUT when you get pretty close to a wall it starts to clip it. I want to be able to walk RIGHT up to the wall without any clipping problems, like in Q2. I have a feeling it's to do with SetBoxEnable() but have tried and it doesn't work. Is this one of the major flaws working in Retained Mode or is it just me being a little stupid.
