Hi !
I've got problems with DirectX 6.1 when trying to add a background image behind my 3D scene
I tried several things that didn't convinced me because it was too slow, or it just didn't work :
- First I simply tried the SetSceneBackgroundImage function but as it is written in the SDK, this is not working well : only a part of my background was filled with the image (in fact the lower part)
- Then, I followed the SDK's advice and I did a blit before rendering the scene, and this time again, only a part was filled with the image, but the upper part, just the opposite of the previous try...
- So I combined both preceding methods and it finally worked ! But it was definitely too slow to keep this method
- Finally I tried blitting with destination color key after rendering the scene (background is solid black), but my main graphic card and my 3dfx don't support dest color key, so it didn't work at all

I'm sure there's a method to do that quickly, so if someone can help me and tell me there knowledge on that subject...
