Hi guys!

Scanline processing system (or replace with your variation) is a technique for 2D games where
the whole screen is updated at time starting from the upper left corner (or from the start of
the buffer respectively) scanning through horizontal lines. Oh boy, what a description. Well,
if you didn't understand a word go check it out from the Housemarque pages
(http://www.housemarque.com/technology/sps/index.html). Housemarque used it in their
absolutely stunning arcade game The Reap.

I was just thinking if you had any articles or links about this subject. Or if you're willing
to write an article to Flipcode, be my guest. Anyway, I would love to hear how would you
implement it and what kind of data structures would be wise, how to make the rendering super
fast with per-pixel effects (alpha blending) etc etc.

Thanks in advance!
