Pleeeeaaaase HELP me. I am trying to program in OpenGL but anything I do - say, a simple-non-textured-box - just turns out so slooooowwwww. What I am asking is does anyone know what I need - at the moment I have MS OpenGL1.1 - what driver, where.

I have a P90 (Sad, I know!!!!) with a Creative Banshee. I code in Delphi, but ANY help will be most appreciated.

Cheerz in advance.

I simply used GLSetup, which comes with the Quake3 preview. It installs all drivers
automatically, and it works ok. For delphi, it's advisable to search for a component which
implements a wrapper for a GL-panel. I found one for c++builder at freeware32.com. It may work
for Delphi too.

Also make sure that the libraries you are linking to use the openl32.dll. Otherwise you're sure to always use the software renderer. I had this problem using Borland's Builder.

You do have a banshee card do you not? Just go to 3dfx site and get their beta OpenGL driver
it 's at Developer/Glide submenu
